At present, the large energy storage system applied at the power grid side has entered the 2.0 era if it is cooled by liquid. In recent years, the release of new liquid-cooled energy storage products is mostly concentrated in 2022. At present, there are not a few in the prototype stage or PPT stage. Here are a few large liquid-cooled energy storage systems that have been released earlier and have been installed on a large scale.
Megapack Tesla
The first version of Megapack was released in 2019. Tesla's current Megapack provides two versions, the two-hour version (1.9MW/3.9MWh) and the four-hour version (1MW/3.9MWh). The two-hour version has a power of 1.9MW, a capacity of 3.9MWh and a cycle efficiency of 92%. The 4-hour version has a power of 1MW, a capacity of 3.9MWh and a cycle efficiency of 93.5%. Up to 20 years warranty is available. Remote upgrade is supported.
Megapack has deployed more than 5GWh.
CATL EnerOne EnerOne, released in 2020, covers an area of only 1.69 square meters, uses 280Ah, 1C power cells, and has a capacity of 372.7kWh, up to 10000 cycles. The shipment volume of CATL liquid-cooled energy storage system including EnerOne is at least 11GWh.
BYD Cube In addition to the three leading companies in the energy storage industry, Jobs also noticed that the market layout of the liquid-cooled energy storage system, including Sungrow Power, Trina Solar and Kehua, is also in rapid progress. Interested children's shoes can be checked on their official website. In addition, Jobs found a project tracking website, which can see all the project introductions of Tesla Megapack in the world. Interested children's shoes can be obtained by leaving messages to Jobs.
